Sullivan deputies kill man who shot at them

I seems you can never get a deputy in Sullivan County to respond to anything in the county. Usually it takes up to an hour for them to arrive and appears that when they do show up the first thing they do is shoot somebody. Maybe its their training and maybe they just need to do a better job hiring qualified people instead of the good ole boy hiring practices. I did not know Mr. Parsons but a life has been lostthat probably should not have been. The current sheriff seems more iterested in the jail than providing the support and protection the citizens of ssulliivan county deserve. Of course he is elected?????

Appears the guy was a lifetime criminal. Sounds like the deputy saved us all some money.

I agree with both posts. If you have never lived in SCounty, you dont know. For the most part, takeme4you is right in that it takes them forever to show up and then try not to have to do thier job.

what about the story a few weeks back where the women, girlfriend I guess, was shot and then the guy tried to kill himself and blew his jaw off? From what I understand, Scounty has been to the house at least 3 times that day before the incident happened. Hey, here's and idea? why didnt they handle the problem the first time they were there? didnt want to would be my guess. Are you going to tell me that woman probably deserved it too?
