Isn't this a little Ironic. Last presidential season when Indiana was hotly contested I noticed that democrat presidential candiates were in Terre Haute, Vincennes, Bicknell, Evansville, and about ever town except Sullivan County even tho they had to drive right thru it to get to those other places. I also hear Evan Bayh would be more then happy to come to Sullivan County if they have a big fundraiser for him I guess the milions Susan makes setting on the insurance company boards isn't enough for them. And they say the Republican Party is for milionaires if thats the case you all explain to me how Evan Bayh makes Millions a year being senator. Guess his last name correct Bayh but it should be bought

When Evan ran for Secretary of State and also Governor, he spent a lot of time in Sullivan: Corn Festival Parade, gave speeches at the 4-h grounds, old high school cafeteria, and a big fundraiser at the Sherman. He also stopped by several times on his way through to other places...
You have to admit, Sullivan County is not a hotbed for thousands of votes when money and time are spread thin. Also, a lot of of depends on the relationship the County Chairman has with the candidate themselves.

Evan Bayh is a poor Democrat!! If he was a true Democrat, he would be talking for health care reform, and he would be backing the President..Indiana needs to elect a real Democrat instead of someone who tries to suck up to both parties.

Evan Bayh is a true politician. His first 4 years in his senate term he is a liberal (which is what he really is) and the last 2 years of his term he pretends to vote as a conservative. He only ACTS like a conservative the last two years, so that he will be re-elected. Hence him not being on board with the health care reform. He is not a man of the people, he is a man for himself and his career. He is an asshole.

Even when Evan was Secretary of State, he was a conservative Democrat. I don't think anyone should blindly follow a president simply because they are the same party. He votes his heart and head, which should be commended. What's wrong with him questioning some things the Democrats are doing?? I think he is more conscious of what's going on in his home state than most politicians. I think he's done a pretty good job...

He votes his bank account and big insurance companys, which they commend. What's wrong with health insurance for everyone?? I think he is more conscious of what's going on with Susan and her job with the ins. companys..

Anyone is better than a career classic politician like Bayh. Frankly, I am excited about some new names and new ideas. I am leaning strong to Bates for this race.

Bayh is like most he goes where the most votes are and the funding money will be. That is how it usually works. We do need health care changes in our country the only ones making huge amounts are drug companies and the lobbist situation in Washington. The last party in control at Washington was a big money and political nightmare for all of us. At least Obama is trying to make changes and he can make a speech that makes sense no goofs as Bush always done.
