Officials: Violations close Shirley 'sober home'

A large house in Shirley with 27 residents -- the focus of an ongoing debate about "sober homes" on Long Island for those recovering from drug and alcohol addition -- was closed down Friday because of overcrowding and other housing violations, officials said.
