The children are human beings and are always number one priority, but like you I am an animal lover and yes, the dogs were rescued. I am from the neighborhood and I saw at least 3 taken from the home.

You are entitled to love your animals, but all this uproar over the dog??? Please, get a grip. Children abused in this type of environment are of the utmost importance. Let's keep our world in the right perspective and prosecute these people as fully as the law allows. Come to think of it, is our foster care system any better? Who knows? Some horrible news on Mother's Day, right? A Happy one to all...

Thank God for neighbors who have the guts to report abuse. That is the only hope that babies and animals have. I wish more people came forward to help the helpless before it is too late.
