Murdoch to LI officials: Newsday deal is close

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch has been calling key state and local officials to say he is close to a deal to buy Newsday and that he looks forward to working with them, some officials said yesterday.

No wonder we can't get the truth when they allow a few people to control all media.All the public gets are a few people agendas.

Heard today Murdock said the deal is off. Now maybe the Dolan brothers can control the local media since they are rather to the left politically and Newsday won't have to change a thing.
