i will also say that a guy who delvers sand to my yard was the one i hearsd this rumor from.. he also delivers sand to bissett nursery and told me when he was thewre today the fbi was all over the place at bissett nursery. i cant confirm any of this because i wasnt at bissett nursery, but the sand guy was there today and said fbi was crawling all over the place at bissett nursery today. so i guess we will soon see if this is true or not

That is interesting because I, too, called a SCPD officer and was told that the SCPD is handling the case, not the FBI. He did also say that he hadn't heard of this rumor.
well one of our scpd officers are wrong, and i dont think it would be my friend, he works on all the crazy stuff of suffolk county

If this is true about James being the Gilgo Killer it will be bigger than Ted Bundy and the "Son of Sam"......
Ehhh i wouldnt go THAT far....itll DEFINITELY be bigger than berkowitz, shulman & rifkin ((previous LI serial killers)) however it wouldnt top bundy, perhaps itll seem so bc its far more recent)) however itll take A LOT to top a guy who escaped jail twice to continue killing, changed his identity to elude capture, who attacked 4 women in 1 house w/o making a sound just to then attack a 5th down the street while cops were all over the place due to the 1st attack of the night....,when then served as his own lawyer - was smart enough to marry himself to 1 of his countless courthouse groupies so he could have congegial visits while on death row ((bc of which he fathered a daughter in 82)) b4 anyone else in the courtroom even caught onto him to stop him, who captured the hearts of almost the same amount of ppl who wanted to see him burn....who then went on to "help" law enforcement w/the green river case ((or the "river man" as bundy called him)) then after 10yrs of delaying execution was the focal point of just that which kept him fresh in the publics minds far after his capture...
This would certainly be big but as someone whos studied these creeps 1/2 my life i couldnt allow bundys discredit for the sole fact that bissetts not even alive to defend himself &/or for the public to see his reaction if/when arrested :)

Security Guard?

90% of SCPD wouldn't even know if they had a hot lead. This case is high profile, need to know basis. It's not locker room talk or stuff people in LE BS about in a bar. Go back to watching criminal minds if you believe leads would leak out like that.

I heard that the FBI is all over that nursery and that the story will break within the next few days. I feel terrible for his family if it is true. He seemed so kind and generous. He was good to my family.

This was just published by Associated Press

Quote from the newsreport:

"There are no suspects in any of the cases"

http://online.wsj.com/article/AP1a63b430945f4...

Associated Press
SMITHTOWN, N.Y.¬ó The attorney for the family of a New Jersey prostitute who died near where 10 other victims of a suspected Long Island serial killer were found says authorities have not determined how she died.

John Ray and the family of Shannan Gilbert met with officials from the Suffolk County Medical Examiner's office Tuesday. Gilbert was a 24-year-old escort who disappeared on May 1, 2010. Her remains were found last December.

She was last seen in a beach community several miles from where 10 others, including at least four prostitutes, were killed.

Police believe Gilbert's death is unrelated and have theorized she may have drowned in a marsh.

There are no suspects in any of the cases.

Some officials think more than one killer could be responsible for the 10 deaths.

Wow, you're an angry little thing, huh? First, your post goes round and round, read it again, this time using spell check. Second, I do know what I'm talking about. It's clear you do not. The family does not have millions. Jim was not wealthy, he had money issues. Jim did not have AIDs. Neither did Jim's wife or ex-wife. Jim was not about to be indicted. Tell that to the numerous police officials who came to his wake and services, and out of respect for the man, never once spoke to a reporter about his passing. Any landscaper has access to burlap bags, a quick Google search will tell you there are thousands on Long Island. Jim did not have a home in Gilgo Beach. Jim had a boat that is not running and needs repairs. But have your fun. Karma's a crazy thing.
First of all I don't know about you, but a 35 acre estate in Mattituck that is on the market for 6 million dollars (google it)-I consider that wealthy. Secondly His current wife is suffering by getting arrested in December for DWI driving her Jag on Sound Avenue( http://suffolktimes.timesreview.com/2012/01/2... ) are kidding me. Their real estate taxes were $105,000 per year.(BTW all of this was in the papers) So don't starting painting a false picture that he was a regular guy and a normal life. He was loaded, lived an over the top life. Whether he was some sort of a criminal is still an open question. But all of you should be quiet about things you don't know for a fact. The above information is a fact.
