Is everyone crazy ??? Is it me ??? How can you all run this rumor around without Credibility !!! If you knew him this would be an impossibility to believe ! He was gentle and kind and the most generous person I knew....I don't understand how this can even be a thought for anyone who knew him and Please state your source if you continue. He has a beautiful family that is suffering terribly from their loss and this kind of horrible accusation is just beyond anything they can take so, please stop !

Would someone please post where this info is coming from. I don't mean you "heard it from a friend of a friend etc, like maybe someone who was let go at the Nursery is starting this rumor just to be nasty.
If this rumor is not true-it is pretty mean.
On a different note-someone with no problems and a wonderful life-(like some people are spouting-making him sound like the next Mother Theresa)-doesn't just up and off themselves for no reason. There must have been something going on.

I also started hearing recently through law enforcement friends about the connection between Bissett and Gilgo Beach. The general consensus amongst the police is that he's the killer. If this is true, his poor kids and family.

I reallllyyy doubt the police would protect "one of their own" if they were a killer--inclusive of a toddler for heaven's sake. I know two sources (both cops) who are saying this information about the suspicion surrounding Bissett. What I can offer as hearsay is that the Police will be releasing the story this week. Plenty of seemingly great men have had shady demons; Bissett may be included, but maybe not. We will see.

The theory seems very plausible. They said the killer was most likely a white male 30's-50's, well spoken, educated, respected, financially secure, drove an expensive car or truck, probably married with a family, and had a job or hobby which gave him access to burlap sacks. It seems that Bissett could fit the bill.
