As a member of law enforcement, it pleases me that everyone is getting along so well on this forum. Cops wives and cop haters being able to join forces and share opinions all for the benefit of the other millions of readers. It reminds me of the people who love to boast that they are atheists and agnostics. if the ground shakes, most of us will look up. So Vee,what profesion where you involved in prior to "law enforcement".Personally yes I do remember the twin towers but Unfortunetly I have to live with the "poor me","look at me,the hero","I'm better than the rest" expliotations by law enforcement due to it.It seems "land of the free,home of the brave" bumper sticker and phrase is meant for cops and firefighters.Honestly when I get stopped for a traffic infraction and get asked a dozen questions not associated to the stop it really doesnt back up the phrase"united we stand".Your writing seem quit earnest but you need to understand America is becoming divided by the actions of your "gang".A good start would be to start cleaning house starting from within,The most strongest and wisest power in this wold once prophesised"before you point out the spec in your brothers eye,you need to remove the board in thine own eye"

Giving someone the opportunity to commit a crime is not "entrapment". The person has to be pesuaded into going through with the crime....So quit all your whining...... As far as all you folks that seem to hate leo's, just get over it already...You are going to have good police and bad police just like you have good construction workers and bad construction workers, or any job or profession you have good and bad. The job of an leo is to enforce the law.... any law... if you don't like being pulled over on your cell phone then go fight and get the law changed or just hang up the damn phone. Of course to you, it's not a big deal to be on the phone while driving, but tell that to the families of people that have lost loved in car accidents because some idiot was too busy conducting business while driving.... Anyway, this battle between cop lovers and cop haters is just getting out of control. I mean why do you care if a cop cheats on their spouse? Does that make them a bad cop? Of course not. Just like the computer programmer cheats on his wife, he's still a great programmer. A little FYI, there are undercover stings for drugs, prostitution gun sales and so much more so keep your nose clean and you won't hve to worry. Also, just because you don't read about something in the paper doesn't mean that the police aren't taking care of the situation.... Hall monitor fantasy, I don't think so, keeping the brats in line, that's a whole other topic.....Think about all the laws being broken with the police out there trying to do their job if there were no police we would have guys like tom from temple calling the shots...it's pretty scary......

You have a few good points in fact you might be a "apple" however the ratio of bad "apples" these days are strongly outwieghing the good.If the "blue wall" where to crumble and cops applied "I am my brothers keepers" attitude to thier peers as well as the public things would start to turn for the better.

Before law enforcement I was in college. I taught school in Deer Park. But I love police work. I worked in Homicide, then went to Florida and did Vice work. Now I do computer crimes and computer pedophiles.
