LL,
Thanks for your "heads up."
Sometimes I get too steeped in reality after being attacked by a vicious pack of truths.
I have to remember that latter day justification is all about perception with those who betray their roots.
At this point, poor Norm likely believes he's really somebody else. I can't imagine who that is.
:)
The toughest thing to realize is that you really do not need the bowl. Btw, can you shed some light on this for me: in the western depiction of Diogenes, esp. paintings, the bowl features large, as the key moment of epiphany. However, in the eastern European art, D. is more frequently associated with a barrel. I never understood why. Do you have any idea? I would really like to know, minimalist that I'd like some day to become :).

At this point I am so sick of all the people wishing for tossing coins. People! After 8 years of dubya and Phil Gramm dismantling our economy we simply cannot afford to toss any money. If you have any extra currency you wish to toss, send it to Norm Coleman. He is going to need it as soon as the trial is over next week. Club Fed vacations don't come cheap, ya know.

We can afford to toss a coin in this case. Franken/Coleman are both terrible candidates. Whoever gets seated will be out in the next election anyway. Both parties should start to worry about 2012, this whole process is a joke and has made Minnesota look terrible.

No, Reed, this stops NOW. That's how we dug ourselves that multi-trillion budget hole: a coin here, a coin tossed there, and pretty soon you are talking real money. In this case, there is no need to toss a coin for this was not a tie.

You have a funny idea of what constitutes a joke, Reed. As to the process, it was transparent, and made Minnesota look great in the national spotlight, earning the state a great deal of praise from the National Association of Secretaries of State.

As to perspective, I always welcome facts, especially from anonymous posters!
