The feud is over: Alcoa and Stanly County reach agreement
After spending several years and thousands of dollars opposing the corporate giant, officials in Stanly County now say they will no longer fight Alcoa's efforts to be re-licensed to run a series of hydroelectric dams on the Yadkin River.

who will paid Albemarle's lawyers bill.??? we will. why do we vote the same people in again and again.??? its time to vote soon remember who was trying to take Alcoa's property, you may be the next person that Albemarle wants your property??? I just want to know WHO gave the ok to attack Aloca and the ok to spend all the money for lawyer's bill. I would like to know so I can help to vote that NUT or NUTS OUT!!!! OUT!!! we the people of albemale are tired of the BULLS, and higher taxes, If I was Alcoa I would sue you for ALL I would get. next time they made sue WHO will paid for that??? YOU THE TAX PAYER??? before that happen vote the nuts out of alemarle. you can't fight city hall BUT CAN VOTR THEM OUT !!!
