Don't put animal shelter near homes

We are all animal lovers and believe that Stafford County requires a humane center ["SPCA issue brings out crowd to public hearing," April 2]. However, it is important that such a center be located in a commercial zone and not in a residential neighborhood.

I love animals but, it isn't a good idea to put a shelter in a residential neighborhood. Also, this, "SPCA" is NOT a bona fide charity and it is soliciting donations. That is ILLEGAL!!!
