Police Searching for Man Who Raped, Impregnated Teen

Does anyone know about a fatal shooting that occurred at Huck's on Greenway Chase and Patterson about a month ago? Apparently a drug deal gone bad.

People don't get murdered in Florissant.

There are no drug deals. There are no drug dealers.

IF a drug dealer did come into Florissant, our Mayor would Ninja-kick them in the face and drag them to the City Limits. They would awake, only to be taunted by his name embossed upon a sign, and run away in terror.

Florissant is the safest place West of the Mississippi and East of the Missouri.

Besides if this had occurred it would be in the paper or the TV news, so it did not occur.

Calling someone a blubbering idiot because he pronounces the word "toilet" as "terlit" is a rather harsh statement. However Archie Bunker is the only other character i can recall who pronounced the word "terlit" for "toilet."

But who has ever heard the word "lanniscape?' This is a new word the mayor used in the Arbor Day ceremony. In the context he used the word in a sentence, it must mean "landsacpe." People should listen to the words that pour forth from his lips. The media has created Bushisms with how Bush handles the English language. They could have a field day with the mayor's Loweryisms or are they Bobisms?

I also thought Hucks was in unincorporated St. Louis County. But I looked at the most current ward map. It shows Florissant's borders of Coldwater creek, New Halls Ferry (a little west of Patterson Rd.) and Patterson Road (east of the condos on Greenway Chase). So evidently Hucks is in Florissant.

Maybe county threw it in as a bonus when Willow Creek and Chapel View were annexed in 2005.

Hucks is not in Florissant. It just occurred to me that the bridge work on the Greenway Chase bridege is located in unincorporated St. Louis County. The mayor even said at the last meeting the bridge is going to be rebuilt but it's not in Florissant. And that's just around the bend from Hucks.

I think we all say things wrong every now and then. Some of the Loweryisms or Bobisms just make him sound ....(how do I put it?)..... not too bright?

We could go all day with how people say stuff. I have heard more than 3 people in Florissant refer to the toilet as the "terlit".

Is the city limits the same as teh ward map?

If it is, then the bridge replacement on Greenway Chas is in Florissant too. It shows it as being ward 4.

Wasn't it mentioned at the March 24th council meeting the county was replacing the bridge? So the bridge could be in Florissant but isn't on a city owned road?

I'm sorry, something doesn't look right about the story or the article on KSDK's website.

The girl waited until she turned 19 to report the rape and impregnation? Did it take that long to figure out that she was raped? And believe me, I am not making light of the fact she was raped. My first impression is that she knew Woods prior to the rape and being impregnated. Being a minor she may not have wanted to go to the police in fear she would have to identify him. But why wait until four years later when she's 19 years old?

Somethings wrong here if they did a DNA testing and his DNA match was 99.99999% match. When did they do the test? If they had him in custody, why wasn't he prosecuted? Sounds like a Maury story to me. Or a breaking news story on Fox2 News, right after the American Idol news.

Teachmore, no one has to find a way to make fun of the mayor. He does a fine job himself. You should have heard his closing ramblings at the close of this evenings council meeting. His closing words are like the Energizer Bunny... they keep going and going and going.

Wanna see some must see TV this week? Tune into Channel 10 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week. Times are 1:00 PM and again at 6:00 PM. It was the best council meeting in years!
