How about the cases that you weren't involved in that she clearly dropped the ball on, Mr Langtry? How about her reaction to those not being, full justice but excuses about how she can't do her job? I know for a fact she's turned away help becuase that help intimidated her and she wanted to be a one horse show. There's more to Duv'e than meets the eye and St. Lawrence County has suffered due to her vanity.

How can she be more respected? She is a class A focke up. More people walk around here because they screw up simple paperwork and process. Look at Oxley, killed someone and is now suing for millions due to Duve and her crew of morons.

What a loser. If you have nothing good to say - keep your trap shut. Keep the comments clean and to the point of the election. I see he used his name in his opinion - use yours.

Do you really think Mary Rain will do any better than Duve when you have to contend with Jerome Richards every day? Highly doubtful.

It is the same one I posted, and says what I stated earlier; the problem is RICHARDS, not the DA's office.

Ms. Duve does what is right based on facts and the law period. She has compassion and acts correctly based on the facts of each case. If you think you can judge a case from your couch after reading a misinterpreted article in the paper you are extremely wrong. Now you are going to jump on with a proven failure who cannot handle the case loads and takes on secondary child tactics with falsehoods and spins on stories to bash our current DA. Your votes count and for the better of the county - do your homework. Take your personal feelings that have grown thru story reading and make sure we have a future and not a failure. Ms. Duve is doing her job without prejudice and with the people in mind. That is a fact.

Duve does a good job!! She does everything she can do to put ppl away. They also go by your past criminal history its not her giving breaks its the judge. Sometimes the system don't work as well as it should and they put ppl on a leash, and I can tell you one thing Duve is right there to choke them when they try to run. Oxley wasn't innocent by any means but he didn't murder. Yes he is a junkie and no he don't deserve millions of dollars, but he didn't murder. He spent 5 years in prison for something he didn't do. That shows that she works hard at her job cause she fought hard to put away the man the police arrested that's her job. The police were the ones that did wrong they didn't get the right evidence or the right person that's not her fault. You have to look at the big picture. She wants ppl to do the time for there crime but there are rules and regulations that are out of her hands sometimes..

Duve does nothing but drop the ball and when light is shed on her failures she gives excuses about how and why she can't do her job. Combine this with the incompetent Judge Jerome Richards who needs to be replaced as well and you have the joke of a judiciary system that is St. Lawrence County that let's drug, child abuse and murderers walk scot free.

His term ends in 2014. I am hoping the gun owners in St Lawrence County will assure that this is his last term based on his appaulling treatment of us.

These negative issues with Duve are pointless as your information is completely disproportionate and highly inaccurate. Take the total number of cases she has handled and see where your account adds up. You can't go by what you hear in the news and a few published articles that are fabricated to sell papers. Your history on her is full of holes and unfortunately it surely won't change as you are surely another outsider looking in from too far away rather than up close and acutally in the know. So sad. Her opponent is making us the same accusations and clouding people's judgement by making claims on a few higher profile cases that made the local paper. The paper is not the new in its fullest exposure, but merely the reporter's way ( with an editor or two ) of telling a story that will appeal to the readers they want it to be read by. You are one of them I can tell. Duve has my support and many others. Also, Mr. Richard's and Duve should not be grouped together to create your concoction of failures. They are two separate entities and have different jobs.
