Park Hill inmate dies in Licking jail

A Park Hill inmate died today at South Central Correctional Center in Licking, according to a news release from the facility.

I will be glad when the results of this investigation are in. From what I witnessed at the funeral of this young man, there is no way these wounds were self inflected. Plus he was due to be released from prison very soon and had served the majority of his sentence. He was looking so forward to getting his life on track and spending time with his mother and family. I praythat justice is served for Chad and his family.

Sorry for your loss and keep in mind that the State of Missouri investigates everything from one gallon of unaccounted for gas to a death. I am sure they will do everything to find out exactly what happened. Also I thing that the autopsies for inmate deaths are conducted by outside medical examiners who will give possible cause of death if they can.

Its always sad when this kind of thing happens. Yes, he was a convict, but he was also someones son, brother, father, etc...
You never know what circumstances may have played a factor in cases like that. I would request all records or documents for the medical department.

I do not believe the Mo DOC would cover up anything, they are smarter than that. The truth ALWAYS comes out, and I am sure they want the truth as well.
