Jailer arrested for purchasing drugs from DTF

He somehow or another got addicted to hydrocodone, oxycontin... anything that he could get his hands on. He had been buying the drugs off the street. He spoke to a trusty about the possibility of getting some hydrocodone pills. A jailer with the St. Francis County Jail found himself on the wrong side of the bars this weekend after allegedly purchasing prescription narcotics from an undercover First Judicial District Drug Task Force ... via Times-Herald of Forrest City, Arkansas

Nick is a great guy. This just goes to show that ANYONE can end up on the wrong side of the law. I wish him well and hope that he comes out of this a stronger person.

When you're arrested for buying drugs in a jail you've got some serious issues...I bet if you do the proper research you'll find a whole list of finding yourself on the wrong side of the law! These types of people should be allowed to live in society...especially around people that abide by the laws.

well naa lets hope you never find yourself where Nick was.I can guess his addiction came from a doctors office and not the streets.

I know Nicks addiction came from a football injury in high school. What a shame. You would think his doctor would have been on top of this! Happens to many times to nice people.

Well...wherever it came from it was there and is still there i'm sure and there comes a time in everyone's life when we have to be accountable for one's actions. My uncle has high school and college football injuries...but yet he wasn't and has never been addicted to drugs. Maybe society as a whole should stop making excuses for all the disfunction we have and actually admit that there is a problem and do something about it. Personally I think that the people that make excuses for people are probally drug addicts too...and you have to remember...he was arrested because he was supposed to be protecting us and yet he was breaking the law...personally I think its a discrace to the police and state! You would think that the police would do random drug test on their officers to avoid this type of embarrassment.

If in fact they did come from high school...where were his parents??? They must of had some great parenting skills???? Either they didn't care...or their just ignorant....I can assure you that if a parent really takes time be a part of their childs life....they will know these things...if not..you have what we see here

Yeap got a HSD from Ark.Which don't mean sh*t these days.I am only trying to say this.I was a walk the staight line kind of person.I judged all the druggies,drinkers,pill poppers.Then I got hurt and found myself right in thier shoes.No I never bought from a jail or the streets but I would have.My doctor was all to willing to give me what I needed as long as I paid everytime I went.I finally seen my path and walked away a better person for what I went threw.I had to get help to come off the meds.Com ing of that sh*t is not a pretty picture.Just be careful what you say before you find yourself in that persons shoes.Trust me it happens.I can promise you if that man purchased that way he was in pain,and the drugs don't let you think clear either.I hope never to return to that.I do know I went threw that for a reason.I truly,honestly,and with all my heart wish you or none of your family have to go threw it.Its not fun at all.Do take care.
