The Times Herald newspaper should recount the votes for Player of the Year of 2010.

The kid named Ryan Fabbri from Cros-Lex had by far the best stats for the entire year, but he was cheated out of winning that award by a kid named Anthony Scarcelli -- the son of Marine City's football coach that the Times Herald sports staff is very good friends with.

The kid named Anthony Scarcelli is only a junior, and he had two off-the-field criminal problems proving he has no form of leadership. Other kids shouldn't be following his lead; that is for sure!

The simple fact is that Jim Whymer is the Times Herald sports editor, and his son Joel was recently hired by Marine City High School thanks to the nice references by the Marine City football coaches. Marine City is the highest paying school in the area, paying over $70,000 to teachers with only a Bachelors degree! Jim Whymer and his friends at the Times Herald made sure to say thanks to Tony Scarcelli by giving his son, Anthony, an award he did not deserve!

To give you an idea of just how true this is, the kid named Anthony Scarcelli wasn't even voted as the Team MVP on Offense or Defense by his teammates on the 2010 team!

If a player isn't even selected by his teammates as the best player on the team, why is it that he is selected by the newspaper as the best player in the area?... I think the answer of bias and favoritism is quite obvious.

Just so you know, Anthony Scarcelli was voted #8 in the Online Poll for Best Player, so it was a surprise he even made it to the Times Herald section for the Final 5.... It was unbelievable that he was chosen as the winner, since he didn't deserve it.

Now we know why the group called F.A.I.T.H.H. was formed.

FAITHH stands for Fony Awards In Times Herald History. Anyone who ever received that award from the Times Herald in the past has been dishonored thanks to Jim Whymer, Tony Scarcelli, and Anthony Scarcelli.

In fact, it has already been predecided that the 2011 winner of the Times Herald award is going to be Anthony Scarcelli!

Somone recently said "Do you think anyone in 2011 will have more impressive stats than Ryan Fabbri of Cros-Lex." Obviously the answer is No. And this Times Herald employee said something to the effect of "That's how you know Scarcelli has already been given that award."

In other words, this Times Herald editor was admitting Fabbri should have received that award since his stats were so far ahead of everyone else. He was also saying that he didn't expect anyone else in 2011 to have stats as good as Fabbri, but even if someone did, he was saying the award would still be Anthony Scarcelli's thanks to political reasons between Jim Whymer, Paul Costanzo, and Tony Scarcelli.

Let's hope there is a recount in the vote for Player of the Year so Anthony Scarcelli doesn't receive an award he didn't earn and didn't deserve.
