Not sure about you but I don't consider a 31 yr old man a kid. Did he know the alleged victims? What was the age of the alleged victims? What time Sunday night did this occur? What were they all doing loitering on school property? It seems the answer to these questions may shed some light on this situation. How convienant that the PD was unable to be reached for comment.

If the Dupo Police would have done there job in the first place none and I repeat none of this would have happend. When loud children and pealing out and keeping babies and families awake and you call the police and have repeated times when once again they do NOTHING. People have to take things into there own hands walking over and asking the kids loud mouth teenagers who curse and act big to quiet down. Not saying what this man did was right after that, the situation by bring a gun into it (was not right) but I believe he just snapped after having to deal with this crap for a long, long time. It is a sad situation sounds like if the police would just answer the call and remove this noise disturbance situation in the beginning it wouldn't have gotten this far. However there are two sides to every story and I am sure the kids were not to understanding and nice to have pushed this man over the edge to protect his family.

To " mom". This happened on a Sunday. There is no one at the school during these hours. There is nothing there but a parking lot so what kind of activities should being going on there? This is to "wtf" maybe he was protecting his family from reckless driving, underage drinking, potential vandalism to his property. No one will know until some questions are answered.

I know the answers to the questions!!! My kid was there! And it had nothing to do with underage drinking, vandalism, or reckless driving!!! It was a man trying to scare kids by putting a loaded gun to a 17 yr olds head and asking him if hes ready to die!!! So I say I don't give a fuck what his excuse is!!!!

First off I don't think anyone should be hanging out at the school. Second this man had no business taking a gun on school property no matter what time of the day or evening it is. Thats what is wrong in our society today. Everyone wants to take control.I agree that sometimes the law isn't always around whaen we need them but to put a gun to teenagers head! Really!!!!

@ WTF maybe you should know who your child is hanging out with is not the best. That is not all that this man was out to do and I understand that you are sticking up for your child but I am also sure they didn't tell you the whole story. I taught this MAN and he isn't the horrible person everyone is making him out to be.

I do know who he was when you taught him! I went to school with him! I also know that anyone who puts a gun to someone's head isn't all there.!!! I know that Jay was a different person 13 years ago! I saw the look in his eyes when he was cuffed at the back of the cop car! I was just as shocked to see who it was. But there was something disturbing in his eyes! I do know everyone that my kid hangs out with. And not one of them kids have done anything to deserve that!!!! I hope your not still teaching if you think this was ok!

What time of the day/evening/night did this happen? How large of a group was there? And I believe that if there is not a school function going on then they would be considered loitering. I am not approving by any means that someone should go around threatening people with a gun but I have to feel that this is much more that is not being mentioned.

we live in a town where you get kicked out of the park the second it starts getting dark, so yeah kids hang out in the high school parking lot. where else is there to go? and no matter who was there, what day or time, there is NEVER an excuse for a GROWN MAN to attack or pull a gun on TEENAGE children. how would you feel if it was your friend or family member? the fact that people are trying to justify this makes me sick. maybe dupo really is turning into cahokia after all...
