I have a few questions about all this, what is intensive Probation? The article says she has been convicted of 5 previous felonies and served probation 4 times. Has this chick ever served and time before this? Why do judges just give probation all the time? Look at her record, 91 brushes with the law, 23 times for not restraining her kids in car seats, theft, fraud and cannibis charges. Couldn't she have gotten time for any of those things?
This woman should never be allowed to be around kids much less get her own back. She should be put in that cell with no light and fed off the floor just as she did to those kids. Where were the four other kids during this time? The oldest kid should be 13, why didn't that kid tell someone about this?

She should be locked in a closet too. For years. No light. But we can't do that now can we? That would be "INHUMANE" to treat a prisoner like that. Yet they can do it to others.

An eye for an eye - that's how I feel. This is one of those instances that public hangings and beheadings should be brought back.

Bet all of us would stand out there and cheer for the noose.

hmm, some children need to be abused. Evidently this mother wasn't abused enough!

According to her lawyer that is why she is the way she is. Parents do have a big effect on children. I used to date a guy that used to tell me about how his dad used to beat his mom all the time. He would tell me about how much he hated it and how he used to climb out his bedroom window and run down the street to his grandparents house. The shame of it is, he turned out the same way. Hopefully these poor children never have to see or suffer abuse from their mother again. I also hope that the poor children are not raised by the grandmother that abused their mother.
I think that the mother is getting off lightly. These children could have mental problems for the rest of their lives and their mother will be back out on the streets in a few years with no regretts. I don't believe she will ever change. People like that can't.

Whoever is judging these responses as funny, spam, clueless, racy and mean needs to be locked in that same closet and see what those poor kids went through. There is NOTHING funny about it.

I support sterilization of anybody who keeps birthing kids they abuse, won't support or intend to raise them to crime. Not like eugenics where certain demographics were snipped, but any person who does that. We can't ctach up to help the innocent kids already here. We will have to start thinking of a solution soon, or no child of the future will live well.Right now kids suffer and we [pay to make the babies who grow to crime on us. Not a great way to live. We license everybody for everything but the breeders.
