in all honesty this is retarded. nothing more than a local government looking for anything to make a buck on.

Actually, if you want to avoid standing out or being identified on sight, you should keep your car bare.

This is so true, I can remember one time after buying a vehicle and taking to get it insured my husband came home and started removing the custom bumper that was on it. I asked why and he told me that the insurance company quoted him two rates. One with the bumper that was on it and one with a normal bumper. I asked why the difference and he told me that the agent told him that with the custom bumper he would be more likely to be ticketed for speeding because his vehicle stuck out among the crowd.

He didn't want to pay the higher rate for a bumper that didn't really appear all that customized, so he swapped it out and took it back and got the lower rate, which was a lot lower.

Your hubby is a smart man. They don't admit it, but LEOs (Law ENFORCEMENT officers) have quotas, or at least 'incentives' to ticket and arrest as many bodies as possible. So, making their job is easy when your car looks like a hoopty or stands-out for any other reason. Some will say this is not fair, and they'd be right; life is not fair. So, all I can say is, if you don't want to be hassled by the popo, be a Ninja all the time in your behavior and in your travels. The cops will keep busy with the dudes with the tinted windows, spinning hubcaps, and ghetto-blasters.

I've seen these sold in stores.
They are called "Truck Nuts".
They are also illegal on military installations.

You mean instead of driving a testosterone powered Toyota Tundra, you now have a made in India car from TaTa motors.
But then those 'Smart' Cars do look feminine - is there a connection here.

I was thinking of going the whole hog and installing a set of pig's udders on my rear bumper - now that would get the police excited.

I know I'm naive, but how would someone know that it was a testicle unless there was more there? I've been married twice and had 3 sons, I know what they look like. But alone, it could be a prune, walnut, etc. Just curious.

First you explain that they're not actually yours, and that you accidentally backed, up in the carpark, when your boss was tying his shoe-laces.

I noticed water from that tailpipe - must be a leaky head gasket!
