Sonoma City Clerk Gay Johann announced Thursday she had received verification from the Sonoma County Elections Department that the Hotel Limitation Measure submitted by the citizen group, Preserving Sonoma, had sufficient valid signatures to qualify for a special election.

Them signatures was all from out of towners bussed up here to sign the thing for 38 cents each and a canned martini lunch in the winery parking lot with fried bologna and salmon spray. That is what folkls are saying at the hospital, amongst all else. All we want to be sure is that this wont result in a bunch of people coming here from Bakersfiled or somewheresnot hereville and ordering mac & cheese off season and then staying to be pumped. Now what about the dev center becoming a indian gaming center with a weekly culture talk to qualify for NEA grants and bug spray?
