I grew up in Santa Rosa ca, and one of my biggest memories was of this child carmina salcido. I was young at the time and it was and it still is a mystery why her father acted that way. Especially since he was mexican. Mexicans do not kill their families they love them and when needed they will protect them until death. Judgement day will come for Ramon and his crime. As for carmina she writes bad things regarding her father and that is wrong she should keep this things to her self. I understand her hatred towards him but no lie will comfort her soul. As for her gang life and social status its seem to me normal that young people get caught up in dumb stuff. All those pictures and such called evidence its all a joke just like the person that will waste their time discrediting another Mexican. "WE ARE ONE" Carmina can write and sell her book just like you can too. Lets help her become a better person if she is not and help her in her time of need. Mexicans Can Only Blanket each other in this cold and lonely country.

ANYBODY that's lived through a tragedy like that deserves to make millions on a book and be pist off as hell during her lifetime. As a mother, i'm brought to tears thinking about babies being killed like that. I don't know Carmina - true. But her innocence and childhood had to have died that day. And to lay there with her sisters...I cry just thinking about it. She deserves all of our love and compassion - unquestioned, and unconditionally. May her next life be one filled with much less pain.

Dear Carmina, you are inspiring. I am the mother of three daughters. I remember your story well. My husband and I were on our way to Disneyland. As we traveled, we heard that Ramon had done this terrible thing. I heard he had driven away with you three girls. I prayed and prayed that he would drop you off somewhere. Later in the day, we heard they had found you and your dear sisters at a county dump. But you were alive! I prayed with all my might that you would survive, the others were gone. I cried that evening knowing I had three daughters that were safe and your family had been destroyed. I prayed for your life. I have always wondered what became of you. I am so relieved you are writing about your experience and am praying that God gives you even more strength than you have to continue on in your life. Hey when i heard your story it broke my heart about what your dad did to you and the way people treated you it's horrible

The main thing i want to tell you is that don't let people get you down by what they say or do. Your a strong person and can do anything you wnat to despite what your dad did and how poeple treat

When I read these comments, I realized what a cruel world this is! To have your throat slit and thrown away like a piece of trash is hell on earth. To hear these idiots try to make you out the bad one is beyond belief. It could have been them! If it had been, they may not have survived.
