Is Lillian Hames speaking for Board policy when she cozies up to the bikers?
And has this column been shared with Carol Russell, the Mayor of Cloverdale?
As everyone now knows, SMART doesn't have the funds to build the bike path and serve cities north of Santa Rosa. So what the heck is Lillian Hames doing making promises she can't keep?

Lillian Hames and smart have a creditability problem. Reduce GHG? That is an
interesting sales pitch, considering the ABAG housing mandates if this project gets
built. It was interesting that a "special" district was formed to get measure Q passed.
Light rail? Oops, not quite. It will be interesting to see/read what happens now.

Scrap the train and just build a bike path from Cloverdale to Larkspur.

That would be the SMART thing to do,unfortunately we're stuck with McGlashan and Co. running this ill-fated project.
