I used to fly with Tubbs over in the 22nd. Why the hell would anybody vote to keep Miller in office?

Wishing Rick the best in defeating the moron, union-loving, socialist Miller.

I've remained astounded that Contra Costa county keeps voting this idiot in; Solano is more democrat and makes more sense. Maybe his constituents, who are his collective boss, will finally wake up to his lack of representing us, let alone listening to or responding to us, and playing to his labor union money giving friends.

Here's hoping George Miller's end is nye.

My best to Mr. Tubbs. George Miller needs to go. Do not feel bad for him he has a wonderful pension and a special health care plan offered only to the elite. Miller is a lackey for Pelosi and all the liberal ilk, BYE BYE Georgie Poo !!!!

George Miller will retire only when he and the special interests of Contra Costa County want him to retire. Solano County, just a mere network of bedroom communities and retail stores, is the runt child of the California 7th District and doesn't really matter in the bigger scheme of things because it could never come up with the big bucks required to buy an election that Contra Costa County is able to.

Ain't redistricting great? Anyone in Solano get the feeling that they aren't really being represented in Washington?

Miller has represented Solano Very well for many years. He has also become a senior member of Congress with a lot of influence. To thorw him out would be a huge detriment to Solano County.

Just checked out his website. The guys a spacecadet. Here the quote from his energy statement "Today, we are developing cheap, clean energy sources for our future. Hydrogen, cold fusion, carbon batteries and ideas we have yet to discover are all possibilities." Cold fusion is not a real technology, not in development, or hypothesized, by anyone, to work. What the hell is a carbon battery?

Anyone thinking about running against Representative George Miller out to read a novel written in the 17th century titled, "The Ingenious Hidalgo Don Quixote of La Mancha" by Miguel de Cervantes which is about a man in Spain who has delusions of grandeur in that he thinks he can dress up as a knight and save the world from evil. All he ever accomplishes is to charge blindly at wind mills and make himself look like an utter fool. In the end, he accomplishes nothing.

Anyone challenging George Miller, who has the backing of much corporate and private wealth and power, is a mere deluded knight charging at wind mills.

There are some things in life in which we can do nothing about. Trying to removing certain long standing political hacks is one of those.

Yup, you're right. The best thing we can do is to stick our heads back in the sand. There's just no point in trying. We just should be happy with the notion that we and our kids will be more progressively screwed from now on. After all, those in power are the best and the brightest and they know what's best for me and my family. Right?

Horse-pucky Max. THIS IS MY LIFE... THESE ARE MY RIGHTS... AND WE'VE HIRED THE GOVERNMENT TO PROTECT OUR INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS. THOSE IN WASHINGTON HAVE NOT DONE THEIR JOBS AND NEED TO BE FIRED! IF YOU DON'T LIKE THAT, MAX, YOU STILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO DISAGREE. BUT ONCE YOUR GUYS COMPLETELY TURN THIS COUNTRY INTO A COMMUNIST, MARXIST DICTATORSHIP... YOU WON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO DISAGREE ANYMORE. AND YOU WON'T HAVE ANYONE TO BLAME BUT YOURSELF. AND I'M GONNA BE STANDING THERE BLAMING YOU TOO. WHY? BECAUSE IT'S YOUR FAULT!!

So Miller is serving us or is he serving corrupt State/Local government employee unions at our expense?

If you're going to kiss Miller's royal Obama/Pelosi/Reid corrupt rear end, then you should at least give us a reason why you think King Miller is so wonderful!

Unemployment is through the roof in double digit territory. Home values collapsed because of the Dem's "community re-investment act" forcing Banks to give mortgages to the uncreditworthy. And to kick us all into a fiscal grave, Miller and his pals have ratcheted up the deficit up to 14 trillion and heading skyward. Screw that! Screw Miller! Hold him accountable!

Go Rick, Go!!!! Go Rick, Go!!!!! Rick will at least listen and find solutions for us. George Miller will just continue to sit back and collect his money. What a putz!!!

And for the rest of you who think George Miller is worth anything more than a wad of gum...some day ALL will know the truth. And when they do, they will wonder how they could have been so easily fooled.

It is time to send talk big and do nothing George Miller into retirement. Miller thinks he owns this job. I wish Rick Tubbs every success in the endeavor to unseat Miller. It is time the people of Solano County in this Congressional District receive some effective represenation.

What a bunch of naive stupid people! Don't you realize that the votes of a group of naves such as yourselves just doesn't amount to a bucket of warm spit? Especially if you can't come up the money required to host an election campaign within a congressional district.

Time to get rid of your naive ideals about what YOU think America is and focus on what America really is. If you cannot raise the amount of money for a particular candidate that big monied special interests can do, then you're completely hosed.

And in the California 7th, the big monied interests are in favor of George Miller.

Therefore, you naive conservatives who are under the false belief of overthrowing a standing long term U.S. Representative can go straight to hell because your votes do not count.

Again, whether you like it or not, Miller will get to serve another 2 years and serve as long as those monied special interests in Contra Costa County want him to serve. They would say to us in Solano County - SCREW YOU RED NECKS!

Miller (with help from the ever so popular W) gave us No Child Left Behind.

I'd like to kick Mr. Miller in his behind.

Miller said in that he'd support the audit of the Federal Reserver and then he never did. LIAR (no surprise).

Change. We need change. Get rid of Miller.

Doesn't matter what he said. What matters is what you think he said. The end justifies whatever the means, by hook or by crook in Washington DC, Sacramento or Fairfield.

Mind over matter - politicians don't mind because we the voters don't really matter. As long as a majority of the voters make their election decisions from the vitriol and Kool Aid of campaign ads and signs, this sort of crap will continue.

I want Miller out so bad I can hardly stand it. He's such a lying hypocritical scumbag. He was critical and on record blasting Mexico for not having anonymity in their elections. But then supports card check back home. He's a career politician and scumbag. I hate him.

My last post was for Max, this one is for Dan. It is hard to keep you critics straight,

Space cadet, uh? Well I'll take that as a compliment. I am a pilot for the US Air Force and a onetime wanna-be astronaut. As for your accusations on my comments, it is you that are sadly off the mark. Just look up in wikipedia, the simplest of research, and you will see work has been done on cold fusion with interesting results as late as March 09 and it goes on today. I grant you, cold fusion is far-fetched and unlikely to produce usable energy anytime soon, but I brought it up as an example of the amazing possibilities that justify my optimism for the future. As for carbon batteries, the longer version is carbon nanotube batteries. Look at this article, http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2006/batteries-... .

It is hard not to get excited about the future when you read stuff like this. I read another article that suggested these small, highpower, longlasting batteries could be charged with lightning. I don't know if it will work either, but smart people are trying to make it happen.

So Dan, I am happy to be a space cadet along with all the rest of us that dare to push the bounds of technology to make our life better. The problem with nay-sayers like you, is some people actually listen to your pessimism. They lose hope and stop trying to make the world a better place, and we all suffer because of it. Do your research before passing judgement. You were terribly wrong on this one and in any case, I'd rather be a space cadet than live in a world with no hope. In America, you have the freedom to be either. Why would anyone choose not to believe in a better tomorrow?
