County opens first Granite Falls roundabout to traffic

The first of three roundabouts along the Granite Falls Alternate Route has opened to traffic.

I am appauled at the way the road is going down Jordan Road. The other round a bout had good driving roads. I am wondering why they did not do the one by the Softball field first as the traffic is busier than the one at the High School. My dirt road is better maintained then this area is and just because we live out in the country where no one sees this does not mean it gets used. This has been a mess since March and it did not take long for the other two to get done. Even the Round about on Lunden was done faster. I guess living out in the stick where no one sees the mess is ok. I got my windshield hit by a rock from one of the white trucks that are working on this project. The next time someone votes for new improvements think about the impacked of the road and how much it is driven on.
