I too live on Grandview. This is a bad bad deal. I heard the screams and saw the carnage on the road. I have trailered horses for many years and how do you not notice any of it. How do you not notice your horse being dragged, your trailer door open and the pull and shift of the trailer. The horse at times weaved into the ditch hello... Any person who knows how to drive should ceck their mirrors and pay attention to their trailer at ALL TIMES!!! I don't know about you but I check my trailer mirrors even around corners. This was an accidnet but that ended when the horse fell out of the trailer. It is now neglect. My kids have to get off the bus in the blood that wont wash off the road. I feel bad for the horse and everyone in this community.

I also live in the Grandview area. This is a terrible, terrible accident that has happened. But, I don't think anyone has the right to name names unless they are positive about who did it. People you need to get your facts straight before you run off at the fingers.

This is truly tragic. I'm new to hauling my horse and I always make sure of what I'm doing and checking my mirrors constantly. I could not imagine the horror. If anything like that happened to my horse I don't know what I would do. Hoping that they are able to find out if this was criminal or a tragic accident. So sad.

I think that if you are not for sure who this person was do not put names. I would like to know who this person was just as much as anyone else however Terri was not envolved at all. She is a great person and a wounderfull ferrier. This will hurt her and her family if this rummer is not stopped. If there was a way to remove her name I would do it. She is getting blamed for something that she didn't do.

Teri was not involved at all,I posted her name as a question from a tip, her husband stopped and helped the woman move the horse, that was stated in an earlier post. Teri was Never involved, she was at a graduation in Marysville.

I agree, no names should have been mentioned. I know Terri was NOT involved. Daneille Titland needs to get the facts and names straight before posting anything. She needs to stop her vigilante campaign. Let the authorities do their jobs, and stop trying to do it for them. I'm sure they know who it is and don't want to say because of people like Daneille.
The person had a break away lead on the horse and it did not break away. The people that helped removed the horse, Sunday, not Monday, said that they had a really hard time getting the break away lead off the horse. Apparently the lead did not function right.

Shouldn't question tips until you know the facts.

I think the focus should go back to the original story. We are all in agreement that the person named Terri is NOT the offender. It looks like someone is starting a memorial along the road side. RIP sweet horse.

I live on Grandview Road and Sunday morning I was coming home from a short vacation. I could not believe what my eyes were seeing. There was so much blood and gore on my road that I could not even comprehend what could have happened. My family’s faces were as white as ghosts as we drove the 2 miles down Grandview to turn into onto our property and the blood trail kept going!
I finally found out from other Grandview residents what happened. I cannot even believe that someone would do something like that and not stop their truck! There is NO WAY that this person did not feel this poor horse being drug along the street while its body parts were being burned off!
It is disgusting and a horrible tragedy especially after I found out the owner just left the horse’s body and drove home! What a freak and a horrible person. It is one of the worst things I have ever seen in my life and I wasn’t even there when it was fresh.
I heard about the blood curdling screams and I feel so bad for all the people who had to be witness to this horrendous crime.
This person needs to pay plain and simple.

I am completely appalled that this person is not facing charges. She dragged that horse to its death. To not stop after people are honking, flashing their lights, and yelling is animal cruelty. Unless you have driven up Grandview and seen the trail of blood you have no idea how horrific it is. She left the horse along side of the road like garbage....what kind of human being does that? Yes the door may have opened accidentally but as a responsible horse owner/driver you would know instantly that something was wrong. And to ignore all of the people trying to get her to stop....I just don't understand. She ought to be out on Grandview scrubbing the blood and gore off the road....it is so nauseating and revolting. To all of those posters who say she is a responsible person who loved her horse.....please tell me what she did that was responsible....was it not stopping despite all of the people trying to get her to pull over or was it leaving the horse on the road like garbage? She is not responsible and clearly not an animal lover....she murdered an innocent horse in one of the most horrific ways imaginable. She ought to be in jail charged with animal cruelty.

This is mind boggleing. I don't live up there, but I can't stop thinking about all of you who do. I hope that the blood will wear off the road soon. I too don't see how she could not know that something was wrong. I pray that this horse died quickly. R.I.P. Sweet Horse.

I realize this. I'm jut saying her name should not have been mentioned at all. If you had a tip, you should have research it, before posting it.

Again,my daughter came home and said the whole school (post middle) was talking about the horse. Everybody is saying that it is Alex's mom's horse that was killed.
