It would best serve the county to appoint Mike Roe, Snohomish County Deputy Prosecutor, to the position of Snohomish County Prosecutor upon the exit of Janice Ellis. As the saying goes, "He knows the (Snohomish County) territory" and has the support of the all-important Deputy Sheriffs Association, machinists union, and former county executive Bob Drewel, to name a few.
