well of course there gonna jack leg somethin else to cethage to take a last ditch effort to keep carthage alive!!!! like the useless welcome center an the useless wal mart..gordonsville is tryin to grow but carthage ppl just cant except it.. so they try to hold gville back ... bottum line is the interstate is life so they should just get over it... i think the county seat should be changed so evrybody can be better off. but the rich ppl want to thro around there money an keep gordonsville down all they can. but thats just like the ppl of carthage cutt of your nose despite your face.. you all drive to lafayette or lebonon to shop anyway.hell the county coppers are even tryin to buy black an gold police cars to shame gville with... what a crapper

UCEMC doesn't need a new Building, hasn't been what 25 years since the UCEMC built the one they ar ein so employees can stand around bringing in big dollars and benefits for them ,while all others in Cartage get the scraps.
The manager is so dumb, and save the money.for this new building..and put the employees to work,NOW.

Anybody out there that thinks your electric bill won't go up to help pay for this.....I have some ocean front property in Arizona to sell.Your bills went up a while back to help pay for this and will go up again after it has been finished for a while,so it will not look as if they are raising it for that purpose.Where else do you think that money will come from? They have been planning on a new building for a while.Must be same board as school board...need bigger, nicer offices for the ones that do the least work!

question, why don't they just have 1 office instead of several. Like the one in Cookeville. Come on put everthing in one place.

Here is my question...why buy the Foodland building and land when they already own several acres behind UCEMC that is just sitting there and not being used? It is a waste of money and we WILL pay. I thought UCEMC was a co-op owned by the members...well the members should have some say about what happens. Did you know that we cannot even attend a Board Meeting???? If we are allowed to attend we cannot speak and be heard...now, I dont know about you, but if I have interest/ownership in something, I dang well have the right to voice an opinion. The management over there dont seem too bright.
