Authorities probe euthanasia of dogs in Romulus

Federal officials and authorities in Seneca County will decide whether the carbon monoxide euthanasia of nearly 100 dogs at a commercial kennel was an act of animal cruelty or a humane attempt to thwart a spreading disease.

People need to contact the district attorney and encourage this Yoder and who ever else was involved with felony animal cruelty. This is not the first case I have heard of the amish abusing animals and also running puppy mills in central NY. In Canajoharie and amish man ran his horse in excessive heat until the horse collapsed he then proceeded to yell and kick the horse. A good samaritan came along and gave the horse water and helped to revive him and stop the man. This type of activity can not be tolerated. This bearded wierdo needs to have any remaining animals seized and he needs to go to jail.

I just attended Puppymill Awareness Day in the heart of Lancaster, PA. This incident was brought up and a vigil held to memorialize the useless loss of life. Any one of us rescue people would have come to this man's aid to 'depopulize' his kennel by removing the dogs and finding them loving homes. All he had to do was ask. His total disregard for LIFE should be punished. Legislation needs to be adopted to stop this cruelty. Our 'FRIENDS' from Pennsylvania are moving to our upstate areas to continue their cruelty to animals which is slowly being stopped. Not fast enough, but the same types of regulations need to be put in state in EVERY state because this type of behavior should not be tolerated. I am appalled that this goes on. Come on New Yorkers. We need to stop this NOW !!!
