For some time I have listened to many a naysayer drone on about how nothing exciting or modern comes to Portsmouth because those types of business owners know better than to open up here.

Hey M & M,

Don't want to break it to you, your Friday Morning Pep Rally is just that with a losing team, on Friday nights. The BOUYS dun't want new business and industry they will be competition and make business costs go up and more people to share the Dole pies. It's been like that since and before the Shoe Lace people went under.

You can't get momentum going without new momentum, not the same olde stuff, etc. Dah. You need infusions, like Duncan gets an infusion with each rain storm.

By the way, read the SSU master plan, they are self contained they need nothing from the outside but maybe the B W's for the non-tea-toddlers. They are in violation of their master plan by renting from local landlords and that ain't going to cut it.

Hang around M & M, you'll see, you must not do research on places they transfer you to???

The taker's you want need to be informed leaders who want new business and industry in here, they don't M & M. How long have you been here or does this get you ads?

Write this expose' 3 to 5 years from now if they are still open, or maybe just next year, dah.

Obviously you are not keeping a tally. A people without a vision, Perish. That's realistic facts not negativity, RIGHT RYAN, dah.....What backwater town jew come from?

It's called economic growth and development not making something out of nothing, we think it's only God who does that, not a local news publisher or whatever? Rah, Rah, put this in your scrape book for your next job interview, no they usually retire from here, you list them??

I see an essay by who ever this weirdo is above, but no direction from it. I guess he is against someone saying we need to trumpet the potential of Portsmouth or no one will hear of it? Stick to the status quo? Dah... And welcome to the area to those new businesses. I hope they bring something of value to the city.

You are vague and void in your tranquil rant.
ESplain if you will, like Mr. Messerly, do you say with the existing level of economic cash flow economy there can be more retail and eateries or not, and they are to be bantered as good, tell us or you are just another jibber jabber blowhard taking one position or another.
"Just a bit outside," where forth art thou? It's totally not clear, or did you intend it that way not to be accountable with your post and mind, just to draw out a response and you day is made??
You do surface saying the "stick to the Status Quo, Dah," but that's the only sanity you have. Let's see if we can draw you out to what you think you really mean?????
It's not saying about potential or not, it's how to get there and wishing and praying for retail and eateries, is not how to get to the potential. That's not even on the radar screen toward the potential. In fact they are just blimps on the radar screen, look at the decades before now.
If that's what you mean, you are no better than Messerly and the leaderships of the city and county and that of the private sector and why the private sector don't want this new influx of anything, that's been said.
It's bringing in more energy with businesses, and industry not reail and eateries. All they do is like the SOPA, wich for what's there dying on the vine, Piketon and the old state jail, etc.
So, tell us your content not your evaluation of the posters which you are not clear on either, this is important to Ptown and SE Ohio really important, for the children and elderly, sick and in-firmed. They will die earlier in life, do you care about any of that?
