I have been in severe pain since '97'. I have had 3 back surgeries since '97' and the last one was in 2002 and I just found out in 2008 that I can have no more surgeries due to the severity and crippling of my spine. One doctor found out due to mri's and cts that the reason for no more surgeries is because the doctor broke my back and it cannot be repaired this was in 2009. I have only managed to avoid the wheelchair due to my pain management which included meds from a pain management doctor. But, now due to all of this controversy I am having a hard time getting my pain meds. So tell me what is the people who need and have been told by doctors and rehab centers that I have no choice but, to manage with pain and nerve meds. You people focusing on the ones who are misusing these drugs haven't considered the people who really do need these meds. I was taught that you shouldn't judge people as a whole but as individuals and that untill you walk a mile in there shoes you cannot say that you know what they are going through or what all of this is all about. If the doctors and pharmacutial companies want to come up with a soulution to this pain I am in. I would be very greatful. I don't care if it even involves legalizing marijuana. By the way I am in so much pain that my friend has to type this for me and help me even just to sit for 30min is hard to do.
