Waupun woman, 19, killed in Sauk County crash

The Sauk County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday afternoon that the young woman killed in an accident attributed to icy road conditions Monday night was Amanda M. Gast, 19, of Waupun.

amanda was my friend and a very sweet person we will all miss her i worked with her in waupun alot she always went out of the way to make me and others smile she will be missed dearly

That stretch of road if famous for taking lives.
Even with the lightest moister the center lines
are almost impossible to see. Drifting snow is another major problem. Then throw in the fact that
most idiots tend to drive 65-70 mph and tailgate, even during heavy rain/snowfall.
