Bad situation but that is the truth, obey speed limits. Add two of his buddies in the car and it's a bad situation. Been there, done that. Luckily nothing happened when I was younger....

Unnecessary to make comments at this time blaming a victim of an unfortunate accident, especially when it's still under investigation. Be considerate.

DID you see the skid marks and the car after the fact? Anyone that thinks this was NOT speed related is flaky. Maybe this will be a learning experience to the other kids.
I'm sure this kid was a nice kid and had lots of friends but to say he did not cause his own death and injured his own friends is just a lie. Attempting to gloss it over is Stupid

It's happening all over but seems to have picked up the pace in the past few years locally. Colonie, Schagticoke, etc...I hope the young drivers are paying attention. There is a lesson to be learned here, hopefully.

Regardless what the facts may be or your opinions, this is no time to run your mouths! The lack of respect and common decency some people have for others in their time of sorrow amazes me.
This is the most aweful, heart wrenching, tragic event a family can experience...and something NO parent should ever have to experience. That alone should make your hearts sympathize.
What's really stupid, is that some people feel the need to express their views or what they think is the obvious...when really they should be taking a good hard look at their own driving habits and praying to god they are still alive.
Just take a good lood around you when your driving to and from work...and those idiots are suppost to be the mature experienced adults!

Making rude and insensitive comments is wrong, It is painful only to the ones left behind. What these kids have to realize is the even more massive PAIN they leave behind when they fail to consider the outcome of their actions they think they are invincible, they think it will never happen to them. Well Iím here to tell you it does happen, All the time, just look at the deaths of the past few years in Schaghticoke and Easton it is terrible. You need to Think Before you Drive crazy, Before you drink, Before You do drugs, Before you Say ďIíll bet I can do thatĒ
I Know this Because I have Lived thru the death of my best friend and my brother Because I was Stupid..
LEARN from this DO NOT let it happen to your friends and family

Listen, like everything in life, there is a lesson to be learned from tragedy. I feel for the families and the huge void that was left by a careless act or an act that wasn't thought out completely. This is however the perfect time to take aside your child/children who drive or ride with buddies and explain how these acts COULD happen or why to be more cautious. That's all I was implying. The first poster should be flogged for his stupid remark but unfortunately everyone can post in the free world. I hope his family can cope with this and maybe even help future driving generations.
