Another death caused by the pharmaceutical companies. They advertise their drugs all day long on TV...can't sleep? Take a pill...depressed? Take a pill! Can't get an erection? Take a pill, hey...lets invent fake illnesses and tell people to take pills for it!
It's amazing pot is still illegal when every single one of the drugs they advertise on TV have side effects 1000 times worse than marijuana.
No Wonder kids are killing themselves and overdosing and going nuts...your WHOLE world and sorry excuse for laws are amazingly more screwed up than the people that burned withes hundreds of years ago.

Just some questions ? Where were this young man's parents? Were these prescribed drugs for this person? How long was he missing before someone actually went looking for him?

Are parents supposed to follow their kids around all day long?

Gamma asked honest questions. Her sincerity is being overshadowed by your sarcasm. No one said the teen needed to be followed by his parents. His parents may know the answers to the questions. My sympathy to the family and friends.

Thank you I was just asking out of concern.Maybe this young man did have the need to be watched a little more carefully? This poor family must be second guessing theirselves the very same way.Its so sad that things like this are happening more and more frequently.Much Sympathy to this family during this time of loss.

Maybe Parents Should Start Taking
responsibility & not throw their child out into the cold where 1 of their
friends drops them @ a safe house & is to young or not smart enough to wait to
see if they walk in instead of throwing him out into the cold for tough love
why didnt these parents get him HELP or REHAB he so desperately needed & plz
dont say cost as they are well off & any1 can go to rehab as the state will pay
it's just another reason are economy is the way it is if anything now these
poor parents with their lousy parental skills now have to live with the FACT
they help assist in killing their son by not getting him the help he needs that
was the real tragedy here & they should be arrested for depraved indifference
for a life but in a way they are as they to live the rest of their lives
knowing they failed their child & bet you will see them to start to drink
instead of getting help they need now & hopefully some1 will step in & get them
the help they didnt get their son to me tragedy is something you cant do
anything about THIS is something some1 could have been done something about..
any1 & every1 who knew this young man FAILED him & alls can say is now he is
with our loving GOD who will never fail him & that horrible emotional pain he
lived with is all gone
his Parents & friends LIVE life like your in HELL cuz you are... & Pray GOD
forgives you & that 1 day you may be able to forgive yourself...
this is coming from having inside information of this situation...
& 4 all of you out there you if know some1 like this young man WAKE UP!!!!
theres is a right way & a wrong way for Tough Love if your not sure ASK!!!! alls
his parents had to do was reach out & keep asking for some1 to help their
son...@ 19 they gave up on him .. these young people are our Future & yet all
we do is complain about them this generation parents spend less time with
their children then any generation B4 no wonder half of them are lost we Have
helped in screwing them & their world up the least we can do is get them the
HELP they NEED!!!! what happened to it takes a community to raise a child now
not even the parents are raising them.. no wonder they are so sad drinking &
druggn & DYING.... just my opinion

Kindergarden through about 9th grade, i was on his school bus and when i seen him on the news my jaw just dropped.
First off I want to say he was raised in a suburban neighborhood with good parents and he did not seem at all like the type of person who would do drugs. He was 19 people, 19 yearolds do what they want. I read in the newspaper that he recently moved in a trailer with friends, so my guess is that they were bad influences.
My guess is that he took probably Xanax or a rediculous amount of opiates. I used to do alot of pills so I know what they do. Xanax makes you very tired and blackout. He probably took alot of that then decided to take a walk only to become so tired that he thought it would be a good idea to lay down and take a quick nap. When your on xanax you really dont give a sh*t.
He had a great sense of humor and had everyone on the bus entertained with his loud but very fun sense of humor. Never picked on anyone. He was also a great baseball player. I was very Very surprised to see him die in such a way. Rest in peace friend.

You disgust me. Alex's parents DID actually try to help him, so you shouldn't sit there and open your mouth, criticizing their parenting skills when you do not know the story. I was in a treatment program with Alex, and watched him go straight into rehab afterwards. NOT because he wanted to but because his parents did not give him a choice, trying to do what is best for their son. He regularly attended NA meetings. At LEAST once a week for months. So you shouldn't be so quick to point fingers at his parents who did nothing but try to get him clean. From the way you're talking, it's obvious that you don't know what it's like. You do not understand something until you go through it, and you clearly don't understand the fact that it was hard for his parents to know what to do, and being in the horrible position that they were in, and still are now having lost him. Do you not realize that addiction is something you can never truly overcome? And its recovery is a life long process? Obviously not. Alex was a very close friend of mine, and it breaks my heart every single day to know that he is no longer here and I couldn't help save him. If I feel this way, I cannot imagine the pain his parents will always feel, so you don't need to sit here telling his family and friends that we should always "feel like we're in hell." We do without your wishes. You couldn't sound more disrespectful. Not only to those of us that loved, cared for, and tried to help Alex...but to him as well.
You will never be forgotten.
