Yeah, He'll probably get PROBATION like all the other idiots in this state or if it actually goes to trial...he'll get acquitted. And the criminals just keep getting away with it in New Mexico. This loser state might as well make all crime LEGAL---it would be a more honest representation of how this F@3$ked up system really works here.

Jules--as she was known to us in her hometown of Amarillo, TX--was loved by us here and will surely be missed.

Her boyfriend--Mark--was for lack of a better term, a "Possesive Phycho" and I hope he rots in prison and burns in hell for what he has done. He has truly taken away from us all a great person, dear friend and loving individual.

Our prayers are with her true family and friends back here in Texas.

We love you Jules

Yeah, This S....Happens ALL the Time.
3 weeks ago, a Former Employee Sent His Wife to Work so he Could Stay Home and DRink, w/ 2, Black Eyes, and a Broken Nose.
He Was a 'National; Not Singling out or being racial, Very Proud of the Fact he Kept His 'Woman' Under Total Control.
Too bad for him, i Lost my Older Sister to Blunt Trauma Force to the head, Death By Hanging, and Every Single Bone in Her Body Broken. Oops. a Shot through the Head.
to Make Absolutely Sure She Could Not Talk.
too bad,,,,he lost his Job.

Julie was my cousin.. I still can't believe she is gone.. It breaks my heart to know someone can be so cold to point a gun at a person and just shoot them. I hope he rots in jail.... But you know damn well he will plead insantiy and get off.

I knew it was too good to be true for us to go 3 days without more gun violence in Santa Fe. Time to move to Montana, SFe's golden age has ended with a bang.

I simply can not understand how pulling the trigger can even be an option. Simply walk away if things are that messed up. Something else must be going on here.

This is truly another sad situation. The justice system in our state is horrible and very frustrating, especially if you have ever been a victim. The law just never seems to be on your side. It seems to me that law was created for the criminals."Innocent until proven Guilty."These people get away with their crimes due to lack of evidence, time span well I could go on. My deepest condolences to the family of this poor women. My prayers go to the family and all the other women and/men in domestic situations.

As is usually the case with in this area there will be three problems or a combination of, that will bring NO JUSTICE to this senseless killing. Lazy investigative work by our police force, great investigative work by our police force but the D.A.s office will offer some sweet plea deal for the accused because they are notoriously lazy, or great work all around and the case will go to Judge Michael Vigil or Judge Stephen Pfeffer. I guess no matter what happens, once it makes it to one of these judges, it's a guarantee justice will NOT be served.

FYI I was born and raised here. After law school I spent 18 years in CA (where I was a prosecutor and people were actually PUNISHED, imagine that). I have only been back for 7 months and I AM GOING BACK, taking another job as a prosecutor in CA where the laws and the judges make sense..And NO the food is not worth staying here. Not even close. My condolences to the family.

Agree, nothing in this state makes sense: cops, judges, lawyers etc. Have you noticed even the people look retarded???

This is a terrible thing for this woman and her family. The perp needs to do the time.

New Mexico is more like a 3rd world country than a normal state, we are a big welfare state on a per capita basis, we have a poorly run criminal justice system, gangs are expanding, we have profitable extractive industries-like Africa does, and we get tourists coming here and tell us how to do it better- but we don't take the advice since it is deemed culturally insensitive, and our politicians are as bad as the ones in Chicago. Manny was just the tip of the iceberg.

Daily Horoscope for December 5

Taurus

This is a day for turning your attention to your finances, especially if you're currently working on the budget for domestic improvements or changes. Talk to the other people concerned and really listen to what they're saying. They'll have some great insights. It will be far more productive to work as a harmonious team rather than as warring factions.
