Error led to early release for stabbing suspect

California corrections officials have acknowledged that a clerical error led to the early parole discharge of a longtime criminal who allegedly fatally stabbed a Santa Cruz woman in what authorities say was a random attack.

Dir Monica Martinez, along with councilmember Lynn Robinson to propose creating more obstacles for homeless people seeking services for food and shelter. Now, we find out that the true culprit was an overburdened parole system. That the accused spent a night in a local shelter hardly caused his mental illness. Nor should those who provide those services burden other homeless people unnecessarily in a sop to vigilante justice mob sentiment.

Readers will note that BJ the flabby fraud left out the part where she repeatedly claimed that "There is no magnet effect" that draws vagrants to Santa Cruz.

Yet the murderer had just arrived from San Francisco, and spent four nights at the shelter, where "There are never enough beds available".

I can't help but wonder if somebody told him that there was this "great organization" called HUFF that would "HELP" him, so all he had to do was get to Santa Cruz?

That's great Becky. The mentally ill homeless need more funds. When the cops get involved with a mentally ill homeless person it usually leads to a tragedy like that beating in Fullerton.
