Cleaning up after the Fourth: Vols scour Monterey, Santa Cruz beaches for trash

In the aftermath of July Fourth, Save Our Shores volunteers collected 1,587 pounds of trash Thursday morning after scouring two beaches in Monterey County and at least a dozen beaches in Santa Cruz County.

that's great that they do this service. our beaches are precious. too many drug addicts leave their needles on our beaches.
