So our northern border should receive more attention or we gonna continue to falsely believe that our Canadian neighbors are looking out for our best interest?

The more you close up the southern border the sooner the northern border becomes compromised.

That is why both our borders and all ports of entry need to be secured. Our government should know who is entering our country and why.
Just saw where someone posted that you have been ill. I hope you are feeling better and have a very speedy complete recovery.

Letís see, sneaking drugs across from Canada requires months of reconnaissance and planning as well as an airplane. Sneaking drugs across from Mexico requires loading the drugs into a knapsack or loading it into 4 wheel drive vehicles and heading north. While we need to protect all of our borders it is obvious that the greatest threat is still from the south. It is a shame that our government does not take security on either border seriously.

We need to replace Napolitano with someone who understands "security and lack thereof."

Would the "We are not defined by our borders" approach and philosophy have anything to do with this?
Yep, we need to upgrade quickly the ability to track, detain/arrest and deport if need be.
Border security at this point is mainly words - compromises and excuses, we need boots on the ground and a serious approach to protecting and defending ALL the borders. There really is no excuse for an incursion of this type to happen much less be successful.

Rico - hope the worst is behind you and you're doing better.

Canadian skunk weed is a top sell in California. But you didn't hear that from me.
