Sorry to necro this but i couldn't resist...<quoted text>
I agree with you and the idiot who keeps saying you shouldn't do the crime unless you can do the time has forgotten that not all the inmates have been proven guilty by a body of their peers. My daughter who is an epileptic had a seizure and wrecked her car, she was arrested for a DUI, not drug tested just assumed based on her appearance. She is disabled not a criminal and she still sits in Sinten innocent of a crime. What happen to innocent until proven guilty? there are innocent people there waiting to get their day in court to prove their innocense but they are treated as if they are guilty. And bail that is a joke why give away your money, exspecially for a single disabled Mom who had a car wreck. That tells me to never go to San Patricio County if a person can be arrested for being in a car wreck and appearing disoriented, who wouldn't be that could of been me, you or my 85 year old mom?
Your daughter did commit a crime. It is unlawful to operate a vehicle being epileptic, because if you have a seizmic event while driving, someone is going to be hurt or killed. What if there had been a child crossing the street and your non criminal daughter ran her over while her leg was smashed down on the accelarator pedal and she was shaking like a paint mixer? or what if she veered into oncoming traffic and smashed head on into a bus or ambulance or drove through a house? Anything could have happened while your idiot daughter was behind the wheel of a vehicle she shouldn't have been in control of. Hope she gets some real time to get a clue.
