2 men get probation in bizarre Calif. torture case

Two California men originally charged with five felonies for torturing a man with a fork, hammer and blowtorch have pleaded no contest to felony assault.
>Zeller and Williams were charged with holding 28-year-old Travis Michael Lord captive and torturing him inside a California Valley trailer.
Under all the double talk, the victim disclosed he was a sex offender in a different state and had failed to register...and therefore the two perps, who enunciate the weakest explanations and rationalizations for their conduct you've ever heard, got four months time served and only three years probation.
So pretty much anything goes because the victim is so unsympathetic, imo. Including two years of jail time....
I'd say there's more than enough evil to go around on all sides here.
