Stockton man aims to clear his name
N. Allen Sawyer, who went to prison five years ago along with former lawmen Monte McFall and Baxter Dunn in San Joaquin County's largest public-corruption scandal, now argues he pleaded guilty to something that is no longer a crime.

A lot of us new this was a bogus case. I think a lot more will come out in the coming year. I expect Baxter Dunn to get his name cleared as well. This was a right wing political hit. Right in the middle of Supervisor Lynn Bedford's campaign.
