"He made his fortune with a company that produces car alarms and other auto security products."

Perhaps he should have stored the jewelry in his car !!

Maybe his next fortune will be with a company that produces HOME alarms and other HOME security products.

Somebody is sharing his wealth. That's for sure. Maybe Obama did it.

He should be able to get .20cents on the dollar at an undisclosed pawn shop. Real hard to believe this BS, especially from this guy. I give it a week, and they'll find the bling in a laundry-- (convient word) hamper.

How about the billions of dollars people like Issa have stolen from the American public?

Oh I guess we are not supposed to talk about that. Let's feel sorry for Issa.

Hey Issa. Screw you.

My initial thought knowing Issa was involved, "Insurance Scam". I'll still not be surprised if after a thorough investigation the finger is pointed at Issa.

Don't like the guy, but the news is not good for anyone. His jewelry is his jewelry. I didn't read how well he had 100k in jewels secured though.

But with folks like ISSA that 100k in jewels could be two watches.

Are you talking about the Iraqi debacle where we send BILLIONS to some other country so we can do the repub "' spread democracy' while borrowing to do it"...thing.

Farm subsidies maybe?

Defense contract boodoggles?

Halliburton non-bid billion dollar gifted contracts from the VP to his former company?

The Billion Bush gave to Goldman Sachs with no requirement to pay back...and they didnt...but gave Bonuses to GoldmanSach principles?

Could you be more specific?

I was being sarcastic above.

My poorly made point, after re-reading my post, is that people like Issa think his earmarks are needed...and every thing else is wasteful.

I agree with you, Issa is a creep,
