This presents an argument for ending DADT from a unique viewpoint.........
.
it says keeping DADT in place is dangerous
.
because it prevents troops from confiding in their military doctors that they are gay; causing doctors to misdiagnose and prescribe incorrect remedies
.
Are you paying attention; Wackazoid McCain?

This whole controvery surrounding gays in the military is entirely idiotic... Alexander the Great was at least bisexual and soldiers in ancient Sparta bonded through sex, and they usually lived most of their lives together rather than with their wives. I'm 23 and gay as a three dollar bill. I'm totally against war for many reasons... If I fell in love with a guy and he went off and got killed in a war, it would destroy me.

Of course this is true. When you have people in the closet, they are not open with their sexuality. And being not open with their sexuality, means they are not open with their sexual history with others. And that leads to personal unawareness. It's a life of denial. And being forced underground, you are putting yourself in risky situations with questionable individuals. Homophobia is mentally, physically, societally and emotionally unhealthy to LGBT citizens and heterosexuals alike. Which is why it needs to be stamped out at all costs.

So? Not everyone needs to broadcast their private business to the whole world.

Being out of the closet is more personal than public. It's about being true to ones self. When you are not being true to ones self, you are putting yourself in a stressful situation unnecessarily. And when people are not happy/content etc., they make poor decisions. When you are actively living a lie/in denial, you are not going to get the help you need in a particular situation if it's necessarily, and that only leads to severe issues. Mind, body and soul.

All of the goals you just mentioned can be achieved by someone living in what you would call a "closet".

Obviously they can't if one is not open with who they truly are.

I think that depends on what you call "open". Besides which, not everyone identifies themselves based on a sexual orientation.

Yeah big bro, I wish you were Alexander the Great and I was your younger/smaller boylove... you'd conquer my world in one night ;)

In ancient times, no man was considered truly male unless he had boyfriend. Guys would usually marry young and stay with their wives long enough to have kids to carry on their names then they'd go back to having sex with guys. Personally, I wish I could get pregnant.... I'd love to carry your child inside me, big bro.

You are totally right, I agree with you. I have had very good sex with soldiers and sailors here and they penetrated me very deep: on their dy off they are very hot an horny because of pending so much time in their barracks.

Sure, as long as you are advocating that str8 people likewise keep their sexuality entirely hidden. Including that they have a partner.

But you aren't suggesting that, because you're a broken, self hating, closet case, "religious" freeek bigot who wishes to impose a hateful and destructive double standard on g/l folks.

No One wantsto face common sense and admit that due to Clinton severely down-sizing the military and Weiner Bush playing with the week-end warriors instead of building real soldiers who are well trained and equipped we cannot defend ourselves.Germany requires 2 years military service from all their 18yr old men and can put a standing Army in place of 5 million overnight. We have no qualified men due to overweight, lack of education and criminal records.Every war the USA has won was a majority of DRAFTED Soldiers doing the fighting.Outlawing sexuality wuld result in 90% of draftees being GAY all the way home.

I know we are super human and all, but that might still be unfair to the enemy , maybe if we tie one arm behind our back it would give them half a chance. But lets not be that hard on our enemies.

All you tuff heterosexual dudes talking about guys and girls that you are not even fit to mention b/c they , unlike you, are asking to risk their lives to protect your right to say the most ignorant , stupid and ridiculous shit. With people like you guys on OUR side we are in seriously bad shape for sure. Maybe you all can go live in Saudi Arabia or Iran , your 200 year old mindset fits in perfectly in those backward ignorant places.
