This "Doc" was my Doc. I smoke pot. He smokes pot. Pot is illegal. He got caught. I have not. He's a scumbag and should go to prison. Pot and other drugs are illegal. He had them...and guns...He should get it together. Don't make excuses for his unethical practices. He was handing out drugs FOR THE PROFIT. The DEA doesn't raid for fun. He's an idiot. I'm gonna smoke a bowl and go to my appt. at 9:00. All the nice things said in the other posts were probably done by his friends. Hey Doc...Taco Bell is hiring.

I saw Dr. Yusim . While waiting for my HMO to change me over to "Dr. Certain". I have nothing personal against him or Eric, but I do about Quality Care and Dr. Chang. I switched from Chang to Dr. "certain".
If you are insinuating he is a "snitch" I highly doubt it.
I sometimes want to have "Medical Marijuana" instead of Opiates, don't know if Yusim was prescribing it legally or not, but the Narcs bought from him straight-out from what the papers said.
The minute he took over as CEO, all hell broke loose, Dr. Chabala is in Carlsbad, not a Quality Care Clinic now.

This is all PRIOR to the bust,
so before YOU judge MY Dr. consider that. And once again I wasn't there, so I can't say.

I am very satisfied with Dr."Certain"doubt that his leaving had anything to do with what you are insinuating, however, if he left for that reason, then why didn't Bibler and the rest leave?
Or if you want to be a conspiracy theorist, if it were you, and IF you knew that was going on, wouldn't you leave????

That is slander and defamation of character, Marci!

Doesn't any Dr. have a right to leave and start his own Practice?
You sound like me before Dr. Yoo and "Dr. Certain" LITERALLY saved my life.

There may be more to the story than we all know, but he isn't a rat.

Anyway, Yusim got what he deserved, you don't deal drugs, and all the other stuff and keep your license. He's lucky he got off with a "slap on the wrist" unless he still is possibly facing up to 25 years.
He could still "deal" in prison.

Dr Yusim has been my doctor from the time I turned 65 and wasn't able to continue with military doctors. He is a very kind and understanding doctor. He explained the purpose and was it does each and every medication to me that he was prescribing to where I fully understood it. When he gets back I hope that people will still go and see him.

It sounds like another compassionate doctor targeted by the dea. Why are they in the doctor patient relationship in the first place. The article clearly states that the undercover agents deliberately deceived him! The dea is an out of control rogue government agency that should be abolished!

"Dr." Yusim was playing "Pain Management Doctor" and was handing out 'scripts like confetti. He was an embarassment to his practice & partners and still hasn't learned his lesson. All of you "supporters" only know the surface of what was reported in the papers. This guy is a total "Dirt Sandwich" who needs some serious time behind bars. He was reported to have only had enough pot "for personal use" and a handgun and cash....what a joke. The guy is a pusher! His license is STILL suspended after all these months and the AMA would be "Felony Stupid" to give it back if they were told about what he's up to lately. Don't be naive!

i have known dr yusim since high school. he is honest caring and would never hurt anyone. he became a dr. to help people it is obvious he was set up by his former colleague. he inherited all his patients that were on meds and this red flagged the dea. his former colleague is the criminal.
Former patient also an RN

I was a patient of Dr.Y's for over 12 years. Not until just prior to his arrest was I aware of problems in the office, there were too many low life types in his office. And as mentioned previously, this is quite timely since it is not long after the other founding QCMC M.D. left the practice. One night a Pharmacist from a local store was in his waiting room, acting as a patient. I knew this particular Pharmacist disliked Dr. Y, alot. I was instantly suspicious and concerned, and asked to speak with Dr. Y again before I left the office that night. I told Dr. Y about the Pharmacist from the local large Pharmacy Store, and I told him I was worried, "be careful". Unfortunately, it was the next week. during which he was arrested. Dr. Y is a loving and caring physician. He should not lose his license forever,he made a mistake and as we all have the option of getting past our own bad choices, he should as well. I hate to destroy the "rose colored glasses" people see our doctor's through, but "get real folks" they are human and for what ever reasons make the same mistakes as all humans. Many smoke pot (right or wrong) to stay calm, as a physician I would probably have a gun as well in my home (he has no kids). All Physicians have various medications at home. Don't judge, lest you want to stand up to the same scrutiny. He cared about his pts, that is why he find himself in trouble. After my husband had a heart attack, the first night he stayed at the hospital to keep him company, and got paid not a penny. Bad Choices, Yes. A Bad Man or Physician, NO! Don't be so naive, the physicians you have put on pedestals can fall just as hard.
