I've read a few of these comments crying about "I'm a mother, daughter, sister..." and I can promise you I'd happily perforate any of you with my AR-15 if you tried to take my car. Wouldn't be the first time.

I totally agree that Repo Agents many times exceed their boundaries and bend the law to their benefit. Under the same context I highly believe that private property is sacred, thus jumping over a locked gate or taking the wrong car is fair game for a bullet in the head.

Bill Doud, You should have finished school... Whats not nice is to borrow money and not pay it back and expect to keep the collateral. As far as Dre; I have 11 agents, including myself and we are all legally armed. If you shoot at us we'll shoot back.
What state do you live in, because in florida recovery agents are not allowed to carry firearms period. if they do they can lose their license and be arrested.

I would not hesitate to shoot a repo man if they tried to take my property. In my state a repo man being on my farm without my permission makes it all right to open fire.

How about when you have the money to get caught up with payments. And they take it any way. They don't want to hear that. All they want is the car, so they can make their 2 or 4 hundred fillets off it. Low lifestyle that's what they are. Preying on other peoples misfortune.

To Dre and Anthony
You guys are real duds for assuming that we Repossession Agents are ignorant dropouts and understand that we risk getting shot when we become recovery agents. This is so far fetched and ridiculous.
I have been a certified Recovery Agent for over 20 years and sorry to let you know but also a degree, to boot. I choose to be so because the money is good and its not always due to poor economic times as now but also due to the desire to want those material things like the leather hemi etc. To set the record straight I repo Harley Davidson motorcycles, Boats, 4 wheelers etc.
My advise to all is when you cannot make your payment, call the banks and talk to them. If you explain the situation many times the banks will work with you. If you avoid there calls and dont answer the letters they send you , guess what. They are sending me to find out whats going on with that irresponsible letter called a " Order to Repossess ". Atleast thats what rdn calls it.
Remember Dre, you promised the bank to pay them back and yes things do come up but understand this that the hemi isnt yours at all but it belongs to the bank. So what right do you think you have to stop them from securing there car. They have the right to secure through a replevin warrant or fraudgulant conversion warrant. So make your payments Dre and then you dont have to worry about this ignorant repo man coming to see you.
What if dre has paid over $20,000 on his 30,000 dollar loan, changes jobs, goes 3 weeks without getting paid, does the things he's supposed to, like keep a roof over his families head, keeps the utilities on, feeds his kids, and you show up the day that he's going to get caught up on the car. Are you going to take it? Of course you are. Because all you care about is getting your couple hundred $, no matter who's life it destroys. I assume that if his loan was 30, he's paid 20, its more his than theirs anyway.
