In 2004 Wayne Pacelle was named president of the worlds richest animal-rights organization, the Humane Society of the United States. Pacelle, a strict vegan, joined HSUS in 1994 after working at the anti-hunting group the Fund for Animals for six years. There he helped Paul Watson and his violent Sea Shepherd Conservation Society raise money for ships. Pacelles goal is to create a National Rifle Association of the animal rights movement. He is in charge of HSUSs many ballot initiative campaigns, winning 17 of the 22 in which he has been involved. His biggest win was in Florida, where an initiative passed that gave constitutional rights to pregnant pigs. Florida farmers were banned from using gestation crates. Many farmers killed their animals as a result and the pork industry in Florida is almost extinct. He plans campaigns against gestation crates in other states, and is already organizing in California and New Jersey. At the 1996 HSUS annual meeting, Pacelle announced that the ballot initiative would be used for all manner of legislation in the future, including companion animal issues and laboratory animal issues. These operations, he says, pay dividends and serve as a training ground for activists. Pacelles wife, Kirsten Rosenberg, works for Ark Trust, now the HSUS Hollywood office.

Paul Watson is one of the fathers of environmental terrorism. The group he founded and leads, the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS), is a pirate organization that sails around the world, terrorizing fishermen. Wearing a long bowie knife and carrying AK-47s on board, he threatens to ram any ship that wont give in to his demands. Watson was a founder of Greenpeace, but the group banished him in 1977 in disapproval of his violent tactics. He is a board member of the Sierra Club.
Watson, who has spent time in the jails of Canada and the Netherlands, was born in the Canadian Maritimes in 1950. At ten years old, he was already a budding terrorist who shot another kid in the rear end who was about to shoot a bird. A dyslexic who progressed from deckhand to able seaman without knowing how to tie a knot, he worked for the Canadian Coast Guard and Norwegian and Swedish merchant marines before becoming a professional environmentalist.
Watson is a misanthrope who has said that earthworms are far more valuable than people. Perhaps that explains why he has started the careers of some of the most violent animal-rights activists. SHAC terrorists Rodney Coronado and Joshua Harper have both served as crewmembers on SSCS expeditions. The thrice-married Watson has written many books detailing his exploits, including Seal Wars: Twenty-Five Years on the Front Lines with the Harp Seals and Ocean Warrior: My Battle to End the Illegal Slaughter on the High Seas. The latter book has been touted for years as being in production for a movie, originally to star Aidan Quinn and now starring Christian Bale.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals provides aid and comfort for the Earth Liberation Front (ELF) and the Animal Liberation Front (ALF). The two groups are responsible for more than 600 crimes since 1996, causing (by a very conservative FBI estimate) more than $43 million in damage. ALFs press office brags that in 2002, the two groups committed 100 illegal direct actions like blowing up SUVs, destroying the brakes on seafood delivery trucks

SUVs, destroying the brakes on seafood delivery trucks, and planting firebombs in restaurants.
The FBI calls ALF and ELF the nations most serious domestic terrorism threat. Bruce Friedrich, PETAs vegan campaign director and third-in-command, didnt seem to care when he addressed the Animal Rights 2001 convention in Virginia, telling a crowd of over 1,000 activists that blowing stuff up and smashing windows is a great way to bring about animal liberation.
It would be great, he added,if all the fast-food outlets, slaughterhouses, these laboratories and the banks who fund them exploded tomorrow.
PETAs connections to ALF and ELF are indisputable. We did it, we did it. We gave $1,500 to the ELF for a specific program, PETAs Lisa Lange admitted on the Fox News Channel. PETA has offered no fewer than eight different explanations of what the specific program was, but law enforcement leaders have noted that since the Earth Liberation Front is a criminal enterprise, it has absolutely no legal programs of any kind.
For instance, in 2003, ELF set fire to an unfinished, 200 unit condominium complex near San Diego. The arson caused $50 million in damage, and according to a San Diego Fire Captain:It could have killed someone. ELF left its calling card in the form of a twelve foot sign that read:If you build it we will burn it the ELFs are mad.
PETA also has given $2,000 to David Wilson, then a national ALF spokesperson. The group paid $27,000 for the legal defense of Roger Troen, who was arrested for taking part in an October 1986 burglary and arson at the University of Oregon. It gave $7,500 to Fran Stephanie Trutt, who tried to murder the president of a medical laboratory. It gave $5,000 to Josh Harper, who attacked Native Americans on a whale hunt by throwing smoke bombs, shooting flares, and spraying their faces with chemical fire extinguishers. All of these monies were paid out of tax-exempt funds, the same pot of money constantly enlarged by donations from an unsuspecting general public.
PETA president Ingrid Newkirk is also an acknowledged financial supporter of a publication called No Compromise. This periodical operates on behalf of the radicals of ALF, and often publishes underground communiqués and calls to arms from ALF leaders. Most ominously, PETA president Ingrid Newkirk was involved in the multi-million-dollar arson at Michigan State University that resulted in a 57-month prison term for Animal Liberation Front bomber Rodney Coronado. At Coronados sentencing hearing, U.S. Attorney Michael Dettmer said that PETAs Ingrid Newkirk arranged ahead of time to have Coronado send her a pair of FedEx packages from Michigan one on the day before he burned the lab down, and the other shortly afterward. The first FedEx, according to the Sentencing Memorandum, was delivered to a woman named Maria Blanton,a longtime PETA member who had agreed to accept the first Federal Express package from Coronado after being asked to do so by Ingrid Newkirk. The FBI intercepted the second package, which had been sent to the same address. It contained documents that Coronado stole before lighting his firebombs, as well as a videotape of the perpetrator of the MSU crime, disguised in a ski mask. Since Coronado was convicted of the arson, we now know that he himself was that masked man.Significantly, wrote U.S. Attorney Dettmer,Newkirk had arranged to have the package[s] delivered to her days before the MSU arson occurred.(emphasis in the original) A search warrant executed at Blantons home turned up evidence that PETAs other co-founder, Alex Pacheco, had also been planning burglaries and break-ins along with Rodney Coronado. The feds seized surveillance logs; code names for Coronado, Pacheco, and others; burglary tools; two-way radios; night vision goggles; [and] phony identification for Coronado and Pacheco.

Rice and beans anyone
I will always be the first to admit when I have said something wrong so here it is. Last week I wrote about the Humane Society of the United States and called them an animal rights organization. They are not. They are simply human haters. I realize those are strong words but I have a series of strong evidence here to back that up.
Let me introduce you to Jan Hartke, founder and director of the HSUS "global environmental arm," which is a subsidiary Earth Voice International. Hartke has somehow morphed into a climate change expert. It is easy to find him listed as an expert on climate change and he is quickly being placed on executive boards such as "Roots of Peace," where his bio reads like this:
"Mr. Hartke has recently added to his responsibilities by directing the international anti-factory farms campaign. He has received numerous awards for his international work, including awards from the United Nations Environment Programme.
As vice-chairperson of the Clinton Climate Initiative, Hartke is advising city mayors on the issue and co-chaired the 2009 Environmental and Clean Energy Inaugural Ball to welcome in the Obama administration. In addition, he currently serves on President Obama's Enterprise for the America's Board of Directors, which administers the Tropical Forest Conservation Act. He serves on the Board of Directors for the National Council for Science and Environment, which seeks to improve the scientific basis for environmental decision- making. I find that one a little ironic!
Hartke was recently elected President of the Earth Council Alliance. ECA was formed in 1992 at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro by Maurice Strong, the first Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Program."
Maurice Strong was a recent board member of HSUS.
The Earth Charter Initiative sprang from another document introduced at the 1992 Earth Summit. "An Earth Charter USA Network advances the Charter in cooperation with the Secretariat, which is based at The Center for Respect of Life and Environment, an affiliate of The Humane Society of the U.S., in Washington, D.C.," and "All contributions will go towards supporting the Earth Charter Initiative at the University of Peace in Costa Rica."
HSUS and its affiliates issued grants totaling over $450,000 between 1998 and 2004 to its Center and the University for Peace. Bringing us full circle again, Maurice Strong served as the University for Peace's "President and Rector" as early as 1999.
By now I think you can see very clearly that the relationship between HSUS and the UN makes perfect sense, particularly if you think back to what has been coming from the United Nations as it relates to their blatant lies about the consumption of milk, meat and eggs.
Perhaps you remember the following statement from the United Nations in Nov. 2006:
"Which causes more greenhouse gas emissions, rearing cattle or driving cars?
According to a new report published by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, the livestock sector generates more greenhouse gas emissions as measured in CO2 equivalent --18 percent--than transport. It is also a major source of land and water degradation."
That statement got a tremendous amount of traction until Frank Mitloehner, Ph.D., from the University of California, Davis said, "These statements are not accurate, yet their wide distribution through news media have put us on the wrong path toward solutions."
He looked the model created by the United Nations and clearly demonstrated that their researchers presented false information. Within hours of Mitloehner's announcement, Pierre Gerber, a policy officer with the UN's Food and Agriculture Organization and one of the primary investigators, told the BBC that he accepted Mitloehner's criticism.
"I must say honestly that he has a point--we factored in everything for meat emissions, and we didn't do the same thing with transport."
