What about the Children the Schools Education is for.
Look at it like this. Smoking not that bad it helps the educational fund.“Mom, I don’t have to quit smoking now I am helping now pay for education with every pack I buy” I so could hear a teen say that.
Why do we have much to get children not to smoke, and then do something like this, why?

So we now see Gov. Herbert's true colors. Wasn't this the man that PROMISED no tax increases? What right do they have to subject those that smoke to unfair tax increases? Did we not just get a tax increase for tobacco? How about they increase tax on alcohol? I am sure that health issues related to alcohol is just as bad if not worse. Not to mention how many people have been killed on the road because of someone smoking compared to drinking? How many people drink compared to smoke?

As I've said before, people who pay more taxes should have more rights. People who pay no taxes should have no rights.

If you would like to read "the other side of the story" about smoking and nicotine, just click on this URL:

It is sponsored by The International News Network, and not financed, as far as I know, by the Tobacco Institute, nor the pharmaceutical industry.

Is Gov. Herbert a practicing physician? Depending upon what his public statements have been about smoking and nicotine, could he possibly be sued for practicing medicine without a license?

Since I am not an attorney, just consider this as a rhetorical question!!!

Read my lips, huh, Governor? Raise taxes on the poor and lower middle classes, smokers are predominately in those classes after all, during a recession is about as wrong as it gets in that it'll take food out of the mouths of those poor that don't stop smoking. Besides, smokers are powerless and targeting them is an easy out and amounts to harrassment and abuse.
