I am originally from Sac County. The expense of making Highway 20 four lanes across the state is the stupidist waste of money that I have heard of recently. via The Gazette

I do agree in it being a waste of money! Are they planning on it being interstate? I just see it wasting money and killing small town Iowa and it's communities. Isn't the rural area dieing enough as it is?

Small rural towns in Iowa need access both in and out! This highway would bring economic development to towns like Sac City! Open your mind to the possibilities. With excellent roadways, small companies can transport their goods much easier and economically.
Did you leave Sac City because of fewer opportunities? Without this road - there will be even fewer!
