We accidentally spelled some words wrong on account of being in a rush to let our mind juices rock and roll. Sorry for this.

Dear Editor,
We have now come to realize that Higgins Lake is throwing their patriotic spirit out the window. Last year they deprived us children of showing our pride at the yearly parade. Even though it rained last year on the 4th of July, they could have at least shown an effort to plan a parade. This was a disappointment to us and and to many other children as well. Now we have just drove 135 miles only to realize that they have again denied us another year. Just a few minutes ago we have been told that the firework show has been canceled also. We were wondering why Higgins Lake is losing the spirit we have been brought up by. People have always told us to show we are proud to be Americans. Since it is now our chance to show our hope in America, when it needs it most on this special day, we have no chance to show our patriotic pride alongside our friends and neighbors declaring we're one part of this independent country here on Higgins Lake.
Sincerely,
Teresa F. & Emily B.
