The DA's Office has told the RCSO to not comment because every time the sheriff opens his mouth, he sticks his foot in it! One day the dog was dragged a mile and the next day it wasn't. You would figure that the sheriff would think about what he says to the media but I guess ignorance has no bounds! Just another embarrassment from the good sheriff of Rogers County.

Ask yourself why they are having to spend more money on this animal cruelty investigation? The sheriff's office screwed it up, that's why! This investigation involves a felony so it's not just a simple deal....Plus...if there is someone living here in the county that enjoys extreme cruelty to animals, alittle research would clearly show that this type of behavior usually escalates and becomes much for dangerous for everyone concerned. Again...had the RCSO, and the sheriff, not screwed this up, there would not be any more money getting put into this investigation. But I sure don't see anyone asking the sheriff why that is!!

The dogs owner's have we looked in to their background? The husband has po's against him dui's and other things and his wife likes to shoplift. Since when does a dogs death get more attention than people who go missing with a troubled past? Carter LEach, Blake Sutherland. Just sayin. The priorities are so screwed up here!!!

What we have here is a quality issue. How can the public have confidence in the RCSO involving missing persons, property crimes, or other important crimes, when it cannot even conduct a simple animal cruelty investigation without screwing it up? This is not a matter of priority because each crime should be investigated and a conclusion reached if possible. But when the basic investigation is flawed, like this one was, then there is a high likelyhood that many more will be, or have been, flawed in the same manner. The troubling thing is the public has heard nothing from the sheriff. He doesn't have to comment about the specific investigation, but saying something to reassure the public would be fitting...guess he can't do that.
