A couple of things:

Why wasn't Nason expanded/improved years ago. The problem has been there for years. The anchor stores there (Target, et al.) should have been "asked" to do this BEFORE they could be built. So why NOW?

Why was so much residential & retail development allowed, considering that the Nason bottle neck has been obvious for years. Why the urgency NOW to widen & improve Nason?

Iddo's failed Aqua Bella development is now going to have Nason extended thru it, with curbs, gutters, sewers, etc. being installed. It seems like this will directly benefit Iddo & save him lots of $$ by having the city do his improvements.

City posting show 2,922 "Active Adult" units of Iddo's going in there http://www.moreno-valley.ca.us/do_biz/pdfs/ne...

So Iddo has a 2,922 "units" AND a proposed 200-acre medical campus tied to Nason improvements. Sure sounds as if he will directly benefit from an improved Nason.

Will he press for more zoning changes, again, to benefit himself?(Somebody track this please).

Finally the article says "Payments FROM investors over the 30-year period will total about $38 million." Shouldn't it be payment TO investors, not FROM investors?

It appears that the Press Enterprise no longer allows comments or posts on their web site and have mandated that all comments no go thru and be posted on Face Book. That sucks.

Ask the former City Engineer and City Manager (not the one that got arrested)- times were good and the City wanted that shopping center sooooo badly! Then it opened, more houses built and then WOW - a huge traffic problem!
